OUR BACKGROUND
DJ Mayeva, DJ Brother Yasin and Juan De La Radio and Hot Pepper are world music producers/presenters on Levenshulme Community Radio station, ALL FM 96.9 in Manchester, UK. They are all also experienced live DJs/MCs and are available for world music nights with both recorded and live acts under the Cosmopolitan Nights banner. They are available for hire independently and as a team.
DJ MAYEVA (UK)
DJ Mayeva comes from a multicultural background with parents of Peruvian-Spanish and Norwegian-Irish origin. Her radio career started at Jazz Fm 100.4 as a producer and marketing manager. Using her original name, Geli, she has been a regular producer and presenter of multicultural and world music shows on ALL FM since 2004. She specializes in smooth jazz and world dance music, including Latin, Caribbean, African, Gypsy and US Funk.
